EdUHK-IOE Summer Conference on Leadership in Language and Culture

The Graduate School and the Academy for Educational Development and Innovation at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), in collaboration with the International Centre for Intercultural Studies at the Institute of Education (IOE), University College London, are thrilled to announce the EdUHK-IOE Summer Conference on Leadership in Language and Culture, taking place on 8 July 2025. This conference will examine the critical intersections of language, culture and leadership, exploring how these dimensions shape education, communication, and global collaboration in an increasingly interconnected and diverse world.

EdUHK Holds Shenzhen-Hong Kong Principals' Forum to Foster Development towards a Leading Country in Education

The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) held the “Shenzhen-Hong Kong Principals’ Forum” on EdUHK's Tai Po campus today (3 December), with the theme of “Cultivating Principal Leadership in the Context of a Leading Country in Education”. The forum explored how to develop the leadership skills of principals to build a leading country in education. Co-organised by the Shenzhen Municipal Education Bureau and the Education Bureau of Hong Kong, with EdUHK as host, around 260 principals from kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, and special schools in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Macao, and other Greater Bay Area cities participated, fostering exchange and collaboration to jointly advance educational development.

EdUHK Hosts Global Research Institute for Finnish Education Conference 2024

The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) hosted the Global Research Institute for Finnish Education Conference 2024 from 5 to 6 June. The Conference brought together over 150 scholars, educators and practitioners from Hong Kong, mainland China and overseas for rich dialogue on educational reforms with a special focus on the Chinese and Finnish educational systems.
